It's time to approach your fitness like you approach your best accounts - with strategy, consistency, and a focus on results. Let's cut through the noise and get to the principles that'll transform your gym time from aimless wandering to purposeful progress.

Your body, like your sales pipeline, thrives on consistent, strategic input.

The Sales Fit Fitness Philosophy

  1. Progressive Overload: Just like you continuously challenge yourself to hit bigger sales targets, your muscles need consistent challenge to grow. Gradually increase weight, reps, or time under tension.

  2. Track Everything: You wouldn't skip logging a client interaction, would you? Same goes for your workouts. Journal every set, rep, and weight. Data drives progress.

  3. Rep Ranges, Not Rep Dogma: Aim for a range (e.g., 8-12 reps) rather than a fixed number. This allows for daily variations in energy and strength.

  4. Push Your Limits (Safely): Go to within 1-2 reps of failure. This is your "almost closed the deal" zone - challenging but not impossible.

  5. HIIT: Your Time-Efficient Fat Burner: 10 minutes of High-Intensity Interval Training a few times a week beats hours of steady-state cardio for fat loss. Think of it as your "power hour" for client calls, but for your body.

  6. Legs: Your Foundation for Success: Don't skip leg day. Strong legs boost overall metabolism and support full-body health. Your legs are like your prospecting skills - they underpin everything else.

  7. Strength Training: Your Anti-Aging Secret: As you age, muscle and strength training become crucial. It's your hedge against time, much like diversifying your client base.

  8. The Goldilocks Zone: Research shows 12-20 sets per muscle group per week is the sweet spot for growth. Not too little, not too much - just right.

  9. Efficiency is Key: You should be in and out, including cardio, in no more than 75 minutes. Time is money, in sales and in the gym.Pro tip: Don't skip leg day. Strong legs = strong metabolism = better energy for those long sales calls.

Remember, consistency trumps intensity. Show up, put in the work, and results will follow.
